Our very own, talented English Instructor, Mrs. Kim Morris stars as Belinda in Noises Off a hilarious three-act play-within-a-play. Taking its title from a theatrical term for sounds emanating off-stage, Noises Off opens on a dress rehearsal for Nothing’s On, a flop of a play with a lot of door slamming and performers who seem baffled as they miss entrances and exits, forget lines and even the props appear to misbehave. During the second act, the audience views Nothing’s On from backstage, where pure pandemonium reigns as the actors’ relationships deteriorate. By act three, the play is at the end of its run and the actors are at the ends of their tethers, with some undermining their fellow actors’ performances to the point that the plot falls completely apart.
